World Environment Day at Melbourne Airport
Winslow is committed to protecting and enhancing the environment in which we operate, and to achieving strong, sustainable outcomes.
To commemorate World Environment Day, Winslow Infrastructure (WI) joined Melbourne Airport’s Environment & Sustainability team for a tree and shrub planting activity, contributing directly to local habitat restoration.
Australia Pacific Airports (Melbourne) has appointed WI to construct two retarding basins as part of Melbourne Airport’s Steele Creek North Catchment drainage system.
This important infrastructure will support stormwater retention and water quality treatment for surrounding developments at the site, supporting sustainable water outcomes and improved site functionality.
This year’s World Environment Day theme “Climate Action”, highlighted the environmental challenges we are facing from rising temperatures to changing ecosystems and the role we all play in shaping the response.
Winslow acknowledges the responsibility we share with our key stakeholders to protect the environment for current and future generations.
It’s the Winslow Way.
